Packaging. We take great care in preparing our chocolates and in ensuring that they arrive the way we packed them—in perfect condition and ready to enjoy. This means includes using thermal packaging materials and appropriate insulation during summer months and for deliveries to addresses in warm climates.

When We Ship. Most orders ship within five (5) days. Orders sent via standard shipping should arrive within five (5) business days after they leave our production facility. However, transit times vary based on destination, distance from our location in Chicago, and sometimes weather.

How We Ship. Our standard shipping is through USPS. Priority shipping is through USPS, UPS, or FedEx.

Shipping Rates. Our current shipping rates as of January 30, 2019, follow. 

Where We Ship. We ship orders placed through this website to U.S. addresses provided by you during the checkout process. Please provide the correct street address and include the company name and appropriate suite or apartment number, when necessary, to ensure proper delivery. My Chocolate Soul is not responsible for delayed or incorrect deliveries by shipping carriers, deliveries to wrong addresses provided by customers, or returned shipments that were not claimed by recipients. Returned items will incur additional shipping costs to re-ship. Please note that we prefer not to ship to post office (PO) boxes and will not be responsible for any delays in deliveries to or pickups from post office boxes.

Sales Tax. We are required by Illinois state law to charge sales tax on all orders delivered or shipped within the state. The sales tax applies to products only and not to shipping rates. There is no sales tax for products shipped outside of Illinois.
